Chrissy Metz appears to call Alison Brie 'such a b*tch' during live feed at Golden Globes red carpet (but This Is Us star denies it)

She had been asked to help introduce fellow actress Alison Brie by the hosts of the 2019 Golden Globes Facebook Live pre-show.
Instead, Chrissy Metz was heard calling the GLOW star 'such a b*tch' as she spoke into her still live microphone.
As the feed showed Brie, This Is Us star Chrissy could be heard apparently saying 'She's such a b*tch.'

It appeared Brie was unaware of the comment as she began her interview. Metz later denied the comment.

The incident happened as Metz chatted to Facebook Live hosts AJ Gibson and Missi Pyle about the third season of This Is Us.
As they wrapped up the interview, the actress was asked to help them throw to the GLOW star at the other end of the carpet.
'Do you know a girl named Alison Brie?' Gibson asked Metz.
She replied with a laugh: 'Do I?'

And at that point, co-host Yvette Nicole Brown started to do an interview with Brie who was oblivious to what had happened.
Despite the audio, Chrissy later denied making the comment.
'It’s terribly unfortunate anyone would think much less run a story that was completely fabricated!' she wrote on Twitter. 'I adore Alison and would never say a bad word about her, or anyone! I sure hope she knows my heart.'

The website caught up with the actress as she attended the Globes after party in Hollywood and asked her about the hot topic.
'Of course I didn't say that, everyone knows I would never say that,' she told reporters.
'If everybody listens to the actual footage they would know that I would never say that and I didn't say that,'
Metz added 'that's my girl and she knows it.'

'I jokingly asked Chrissy if she knew who Alison was, as a way to transition into the 'toss' and she played along. She then referred to Alison as a 'babe' and the fun exchange ended.'
Brie showed support for Metz, sharing a picture of the two posing together at last year's SAG Awards, tagged: 'Nothing but love for Chrissy Metz. Rumours can't keep us down.'
